Six-time Spanish bodybuilding champion José Antonio Hernandez Torres, known as Jocha, has passed away in Tenerife at age 57, just weeks before his 58th birthday. He captured the Mr. Universe title in 2004 and enjoyed a career that spanned more than four decades. After retiring from competition, Jocha founded the Jocha Fitness Gym in Tenerife, earning a reputation as the most decorated athlete in his local Barrio Nuevo community. His legacy was praised online by the neighborhood association and fellow bodybuilders alike. In a tribute, one of his peers described him as a legend who helped put Spain on the international bodybuilding map in the 1980s. No cause of death has been disclosed.
