How a National Referendum Could Shield Yorubaland from Fulani Terrorism
I’ll keep this brief and to the point: Mr. President, you’re fighting a war you cannot win. Fulani terrorism will only deepen under One Nigeria. The more you press in the North, the more Yoruba lives are at risk in the South West. If you truly care about Yorubaland’s future, use your powers and the political structure you’ve built to call a national referendum on One Nigeria. This move could unite the South East, South South and South West behind you and turn today's critics into grateful supporters. With the 2027 election looming, many more Yoruba could be targeted. A timely referendum might avert a bloodbath and spare a generation from violence. Remember how Plateau State suffered under Gowon’s rule—don’t let history repeat itself.
