FAAN Says Flights Will Continue Despite Aviation Unions’ Industrial Action

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria says flight operations will continue across the country despite the ongoing industrial action by aviation unions. FAAN said it is working with airlines, aviation agencies, security operatives and other stakeholders to keep airports safe, secure and functional. It added that earlier challenges affecting the movement of some aircraft on the airside have been addressed through inter-agency coordination. The authority advised passengers to stay calm and contact their airlines for real-time flight updates. Aviation union action has disrupted activities at some airports, affecting passengers and airline operations.
