Lagos to Uyo Road Trip Adventure

Hello everyone, I’m embarking on a road trip from Lagos to Uyo in Akwa Ibom State. Work keeps me tied to a desk, so I grab every chance to travel. This will be my first visit to Akwa Ibom as an adult. Google Maps shows 660 km and about 12 hours of driving, but police checkpoints and road conditions will add some time. I’ll be travelling with Libra Motors, departing from Ajah Park on April 2, 2026. My route: Lekki-Epe Expressway → Sagamu → Ore → Benin City (my hometown) → Asaba → Onitsha → Awka → Amansea → Enugu → Abia → Uyo. I’ll share photos and updates as I go. Stay tuned for the journey!

Pack extra water, snacks, and a basic first aid kit, and schedule short breaks every three hours to stay alert on the road.
