Security Forces and NSA Ribadu Deliver Major May Blow to Terrorism
The Community Safety Vanguard hails Nigeria’s security forces and National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu for the decisive operations in May 2026. Joint land, air, and maritime missions eliminated 317 terrorists, rescued 221 kidnapped victims, arrested 314 suspects, and recovered 93 weapons along with 21,910 litres of stolen petroleum. The offensive also secured the surrender of 18 insurgents, destroyed three illegal refineries, and dismantled arms facilities from the North-East to the South-South. Operation Hadin Kai and Operation Fansan Yamma weakened key terror and bandit networks. We commend NSA Ribadu’s leadership and President Tinubu’s support for this renewed security push. The recent kidnapping of school children and teachers in Oyo State is deeply concerning. We urge the immediate and safe return of all abductees. Nigeria must sustain this momentum. Citizens are called upon to share intelligence and back the military, police, and security agencies. United effort is vital to end terrorism, banditry, and criminal networks once and for all.
