APC Aspirant Ajongbolo Demands Clarity after Multiple Primary Date Changes

APC Aspirant Ajongbolo Demands Clarity after Multiple Primary Date Changes

A House of Representatives hopeful for Akoko South East/South West, Hon. Seun Ajongbolo, has raised alarm over shifting primary election dates within the APC. The contest was first set for May 15 before being moved to May 16, marking the second change in a short span. Ajongbolo warns that these shifts have sown confusion among aspirants and disrupted campaign plans and consultations. He also highlighted delays in releasing the list of cleared candidates as another source of anxiety for party faithful. He urged the national leadership, the Ondo State governor, and party executives to ensure a transparent, consistent process. Ajongbolo stressed that fairness and equal treatment are vital to upholding the APC’s democratic ideals and maintaining unity ahead of the primaries.
