Burna Boy, Wizkid and Rema Feature on Spotify’s 2026 Global Impact List

Spotify has released its Global Impact List for the first half of 2026, highlighting Nigerian songs with strong international streaming performance. Burna Boy and Shakira’s FIFA World Cup 2026 song, “Dai Dai”, led the list. The Spanish-and-English collaboration reflects the growing reach of Afrobeats across different markets. Other notable entries include Wizkid, Rauw Alejandro and Rvssian’s “PONGO”, as well as Rema, Anitta, LISA and FIFA Sound’s “Goals”. Spotify said these collaborations show how Nigerian artistes are using Yoruba, Igbo, Nigerian Pidgin, English and other languages to connect with global audiences.
