Sowore Blasts Senators’ ₦30m Monthly Pay While Workers Struggle

Sowore Blasts Senators’ ₦30m Monthly Pay While Workers Struggle

Human rights activist and politician Omoyele Sowore has condemned the huge wage gap in Nigeria. He pointed out that many public servants earn more than ₦30 million a month while the average worker labours for decades yet can barely afford food, medicine or school fees. “In this country, those who work are the least paid, and the ones who don’t work are the best paid,” he said. Sowore called this a major economic injustice and vowed to fight for fair wages and accountability in government. His comments sparked widespread debate across social media.
