Nwoko Alleges Ganduje Broke Power-Sharing Promise in Delta APC
On May 20, Senator Ned Nwoko spoke out about deepening tensions in the Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress. He said founding members have been sidelined by newly defected politicians who control the state executive. Nwoko warned that this takeover has upended internal democracy and left legacy members politically irrelevant. He recalled that before his own defection, national leaders led by former party chairman Ganduje assured a power-sharing formula. They promised to dissolve the state executive committee and make nominations to protect old members’ interests. “That was never done,” Nwoko said.
