British Royals Share First Teen Portrait of Prince George on His 13th Birthday
Kensington Palace has marked Prince George’s transition to his teenage years with a newly released portrait celebrating his 13th birthday on July 22. The image, captured by photographer Matt Porteous shortly after June’s Trooping the Colour ceremony, shows the young royal in a smart suit and relaxed pose. As the eldest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales, George is second in line to the British throne. He is set to begin secondary school at Eton College this September, following in his father’s footsteps.
