Fresh details have emerged in the clash at the Lagos International Trade Fair Complex that claimed the life of a security operative and injured three others. The Task Force Chairman says he was sent to halt illegal construction in a disputed zone on a Sunday. He seized equipment, but alleged Balogun Business Association officials returned with new tools and restarted work. An ambush followed and armed men opened fire. One officer was killed and three others wounded. The chairman identified a suspect known as “Master” and has called on authorities to bring all responsible parties to justice. The affected market section remains sealed as police investigations into the fatal shooting and land dispute continue.
