PFN Rejects Muslim-Muslim Ticket Ahead of 2027 Elections

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria has said it does not support a Muslim-Muslim ticket for elective office ahead of the 2027 general elections. The group said Nigeria’s diversity should be reflected in leadership and called for fairness, equity, and respect for the Constitution. The fellowship also opposed any law or policy that would restrict Christian preaching. It said religious freedom is protected by the Constitution and urged government to avoid measures that could suppress legitimate religious expression. PFN called on Nigerians to remain peaceful and law-abiding, while encouraging dialogue among government, religious leaders, and civil society on issues that could affect national unity.
