Magodo Police Rescue 23-Year-Old After Ingesting Insecticide Over Theft Claim
Police operatives in Lagos rescued a 23-year-old man found unconscious after allegedly ingesting insecticide in the Magodo area. The case was reported to the Isheri Police Division on June 21 when a resident discovered Michael Bliss, whom she had cared for since childhood, lying unresponsive in her home at around 8:40am. Preliminary investigations suggest the young man attempted to take his life after being confronted over an alleged theft. Detectives have documented relevant evidence as part of ongoing inquiries. Mr. Bliss was evacuated to Spark View Hospital in Magodo, where he is responding to treatment under protective custody. Authorities continue to probe the full circumstances of the incident.
