Anambra Governor Soludo Appoints Prof. Peter Onwualu as COOU Pro-Chancellor

Governor Chukwuma Soludo has approved the appointment of Professor Peter Azikiwe Onwualu as Chairman and Pro-Chancellor of the Governing Council for Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam. Professor Onwualu is a distinguished Agricultural Engineer and currently serves as Vice-Chancellor of the African University of Science and Technology, Abuja. He previously led the Raw Materials Research and Development Council, has authored over 200 publications, holds 10 patents, and is a fellow of 12 professional bodies. Other council members are Chief Christopher Ndubuisi; HRH Igwe Chidiume Oranu; Prof. Josephat O. Ogbuagu; and AIG (Rtd.) Sir Chris Ezike. This new team is expected to drive greater academic excellence at the university.
