Vincent Kompany Compares Michael Olise to Kevin De Bruyne

Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany has likened Michael Olise to his former Manchester City teammate Kevin De Bruyne after a brilliant showing against Freiburg. Olise inspired a comeback from two goals down as Bayern won 3-2 in Saturday’s Bundesliga fixture. In a conversation with the club’s website, Kompany praised Olise’s vision and creativity, saying he sees shades of De Bruyne’s style in the France international.

I'd hold off saying Olise can match De Bruyne at Bayern yet; he still needs more consistent top-level shows.

Bayern should give Olise consistent minutes before expecting him to reach De Bruyne's level week in, week out.
