Fayose Says Atiku Is Too Old to Run in 2027, Likens Him to Biden

Former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose says Atiku Abubakar is too old to seek the presidency in 2027, comparing another bid by the former vice-president to asking Joe Biden to contest again. Speaking on a television political programme, Fayose said age had caught up with Atiku, despite describing him as a good man. He also said President Bola Tinubu, Atiku and Peter Obi may each be facing their final opportunity to contest for the presidency. Fayose further argued that Rotimi Amaechi would have limited support in Rivers State and claimed that the ADC and NDC lack strong grassroots structures.
