Fausat Balogun in Tears as Toyosi Adesanya Recalls ‘No Money’ on Baby’s Arrival
Veteran actress Fausat Balogun paid an emotional visit to new mum Toyosi Adesanya. In a clip shared on social media, she broke down in tears as she hugged her colleague. Toyosi admitted that on the day she welcomed her daughter, she had no money. She thanked Fausat for her prayers and unwavering support. Earlier reports confirmed Toyosi’s baby girl was born via surrogacy with her husband’s backing. Several Nollywood stars have come calling to celebrate. Antar Laniyan, Bimbo Oshin and Folorunsho Adeola were among the first. Odunlade Adekola lightened the mood, Peju Ogunmola arrived with gifts and Muyiwa Ademola sent N200,000 as the baby’s first gift. Toyosi’s road to motherhood began in 2008. She underwent laparoscopy, dye tests and multiple failed IVF attempts. She sold her jewellery and pooled funds from her boutique before finally holding her daughter.
