Chiamaka Nnadozie Receives House Certificate for Super Falcons’ WAFCON Triumph
Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has received the certificate for a house awarded in recognition of Nigeria’s 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations triumph. The Nigeria Football Federation presented the document to Nnadozie, confirming that the reward package promised after the Falcons’ 3-2 final victory over Morocco is beginning to be fulfilled. President Bola Tinubu had announced a house and $100,000 for each player, while technical and backroom staff were promised $50,000 each. Nigeria, the reigning African champions, will now focus on defending their title at the 2026 WAFCON in Morocco. The Super Falcons face Malawi, Zambia and Egypt in Group C as they pursue a record-extending 11th title and qualification for the 2027 Women’s World Cup.
