Join MamaLingua Kids as a Full-Time Remote Yoruba Teacher
MamaLingua Kids is a learning home for children aged 3–16. We build confidence in heritage languages while nurturing each child’s curiosity. Our approach avoids stereotypes, shame, comparison and unnecessary pressure. We seek a warm, reliable Yoruba teacher to deliver engaging live lessons. You will help learners develop speaking, listening, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, writing and cultural understanding. Key tasks include planning age-appropriate lessons, adapting methods for different abilities, reviewing content for accuracy, recording pronunciation samples and providing constructive, pressure-free feedback. You must have strong spoken and written Yoruba and English, experience teaching children, a reliable internet connection and a professional home teaching space. Qualifications in education or linguistics, online teaching platform experience and supporting neurodivergent learners are desirable. This role requires safeguarding checks, approved communication channels and adherence to privacy procedures.
