Anambra Holds Interdenominational Service to Celebrate Governor Soludo’s First Term
An interdenominational service held at the International Convention Centre in Awka marked the end of Governor Chukwuma Soludo and Deputy Governor Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim’s first tenure. The gathering brought together Christian leaders and worshippers from across the state. Governor Soludo thanked God and the people of Anambra for their unwavering support. He acknowledged divine guidance in completing his first term and pledged renewed dedication to delivering tangible development that reflects true democratic values. He reaffirmed his commitment to collaborate with individuals from all backgrounds, regardless of religion, ethnicity, or political affiliation. The governor stressed that diverse perspectives are essential for the state’s progress and prosperity. Most Reverend Alexander Ibezim, Anglican Bishop of Awka Diocese, and Bishop Francis Wale Oke, National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, delivered sermons on “Leading with Wisdom and Integrity.” They urged citizens and leaders to unite in integrity and cooperation for Anambra’s continued growth.
