At least seven people, including the suspected gunman, were killed after a student opened fire at Debsirin Nonthaburi School on the outskirts of Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday. Police said 15 other people were injured. Teachers and students were among the victims. Emergency workers said they treated people with wounds to the chest, back and arms while the attack was still ongoing. An 18-year-old student said he initially mistook the gunfire for firecrackers. Authorities said the suspected attacker was a student and that support was being arranged for those affected.
