APC Chieftain Accuses Atiku of Using ADC to Block Southern Presidency

Ayekooto Akindele, an APC chieftain, alleges that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar turned the African Democratic Congress into a vehicle to derail a southern presidency after eight years of Buhari and four years of Tinubu. He spoke out in response to the Obidient Movement, which praised Peter Obi for skipping the ADC primary and joining the Nigeria Democratic Congress instead. Akindele argues that Obi would have been wiser to avoid the ADC completely. The APC leader contrasts Obi’s move with Alex Otti’s decision, calling Otti sensible and describing Obi’s defection from the Labour Party to the NDC as a major misstep.
