Theme: The Living Dead Memory Verse: “I have set the LORD always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.” (Psalm 16:8) Bible Reading: 1 Corinthians 11:24–26 explains how Jesus instituted the Lord’s Supper. Partaking in His body and blood gives true life in Christ. Without accepting Him as Lord, we have no real life and are like the living dead. Regularly sharing in Holy Communion keeps Christ before us, shields us from evil, and surrounds us with His favor. But taking the bread and cup in unrepentant sin brings judgment. Turn from sin, accept Jesus as Lord, and approach His table with reverence. Key Point: Rejecting Christ’s sacrifice leaves us spiritually dead. Bible in One Year: Psalms 62–68.
