Shearer Confident City Will Clinch Title After Edging Arsenal

Shearer Confident City Will Clinch Title After Edging Arsenal

Manchester City moved within three points of Arsenal with a 2-1 win at the Etihad. Erling Haaland’s second-half strike proved decisive after Kai Havertz had briefly levelled following Rayan Cherki’s opener. Alan Shearer noted Arsenal’s energy and attacking intent improved, but wasted chances cost them dearly. He pointed to Havertz’s late miss as the turning point in the match. Shearer believes City’s form, experience and momentum give them the edge in the title race. With Haaland firing and the fans behind them, he expects Manchester City to go on and lift the Premier League trophy.
