Tinubu Vows Justice, Labels Plateau and Kaduna Attacks ‘Heartless Cowardice’
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has condemned the brutal nighttime assaults on Angwan Rukuba in Plateau State and Kahir village in Kaduna State. In a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, he described the killings and abductions as acts of “heartless cowardice” and assured Nigerians that the perpetrators will not go unpunished. He urged security agencies to step up intelligence-led operations, warned media against inflaming tensions, and called on communities to heed evacuation and safety directives. He also commended Governors Caleb Mutfwang and Uba Sani for their swift response and pledged federal support and enhanced equipment for security forces.
