Ayiri Emami Labels Hunger Complaints as Laziness, Echoes Buhari’s View

Businessman and APC chieftain Ayiri Emami has criticized Nigerians who frequently complain about hunger. He argued that food insecurity is a global issue rather than one unique to Nigeria, suggesting many citizens are unwilling to work. Emami noted that the Tinubu administration is focused on boosting productivity, encouraging tax compliance and developing infrastructure. On governance, he said he does not seek favours from legislators but does turn to the executive arm, adding “where you work is where you eat.”
