Troops Arrest 18-Year-Old Suspected Bandit Informant in Katsina
Troops have arrested an 18-year-old suspected bandit informant in Tsaure, Musawa Local Government Area of Katsina State. Residents reportedly alerted community elders after the suspect was seen asking children about troop deployments, vehicles, motorcycles and equipment around the area. The elders then informed personnel at the Forward Operating Base in Tsaure. Troops arrested the suspect and moved him to the Brigade Headquarters for interrogation and further investigation. Security personnel said surveillance has been intensified around the Katsina-Kano border following reports of bandit activity.
