NIPR Inducts 73 Nigeria Immigration Service PR Officers After Certification

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations has inducted 73 Public Relations Officers of the Nigeria Immigration Service after they completed its Training and Certification Programme in Abuja. Representing Comptroller-General Kemi Nandap, Deputy Comptroller-General for Visa and Residency FU Nwanneka urged the officers to uphold professional and ethical standards. She asked them to manage public perception proactively, counter misinformation, respond effectively to crises and build public trust. NIPR President Dr. Ike Neliaku formally inducted the officers and stressed the ethical responsibilities expected of public relations practitioners. The programme is part of the Immigration Service’s efforts to strengthen strategic communication during its technology-driven migration and border-management reforms.
