Abuja, Nigeria – Prof Ayo Omotayo, Director-General of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, paid an official visit to the National Executive Committee of its alumni association at the AANI Secretariat in Maitama. The delegation and alumni leaders discussed ways to strengthen collaboration between NIPSS and the alumni body. They explored joint programmes for leadership development and strategies to uphold the Institute’s prestige and national relevance. Prof Omotayo also briefed the committee on the recent security breach at the Kuru facility, where three military personnel and a police officer lost their lives. He thanked alumni for their support and reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing campus safety. Both parties pledged to promote policy excellence, national integration and sustainable nation-building initiatives in line with NIPSS’s founding vision.
