DIUSCADI Begins 2-Day Career and Digital Skills Training for Over 1,000 Anambra Students
The Digitized Initiative for Up-skilling Career Development and Innovation (DIUSCADI) has begun the seventh edition of its Life After School Career Development Seminar Series, tagged LASCDASS 7.0, at the ASUU NAU Secretariat in UNIZIK, Awka. The two-day workshop is training final-year and undergraduate students from several tertiary institutions in Anambra State. It features hands-on sessions in cyber security, data analysis, blockchain technology, digital marketing, agribusiness, fashion design, solar and CCTV installation, and other practical skills. The convener, Prof. Ikechukwu Umeh, said the programme is meant to prepare young people with the skills, values and entrepreneurial mindset needed to thrive in a technology-driven world. Day two will include patron installation, a panel discussion, a youth innovation showcase, the LASCDASS impact report, and awards.
