NDLEA Raids Kano Drug Dens, Arrests 38 Ahead of Eid-el-Kabir

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency’s Kano Strategic Command arrested 38 suspected drug offenders during a two-day raid under “Operation Sharar Mafaka.” The operation targeted drug dens in Sheka, Farm Centre, Fagge, Filin Idi, Gyadi-Gyadi, Hotoro, Tashar Rami, Audu Bako Secretariat, Hauren Gadagi, and Kofar Mata. Officers seized cannabis sativa, Exol-5, diazepam, “suck and die,” rubber solution, and homemade weapons. This pre-Sallah crackdown aims to stop criminals from exploiting the Eid-el-Kabir festivities. The agency says it will sustain these operations to keep communities safe and calls on residents to report any suspicious activities.
