Netanyahu Visits Lebanon Border, Warns ‘The War Continues’

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu toured the southern Lebanon security zone with Defense Minister Israel Katz and IDF commanders. He said Israel had blocked infiltration attempts and pushed back anti-tank missile and rocket threats. Despite these gains, Netanyahu stressed that “there is more work to do.” Defense Minister Katz added that Operation “Silver Plow” was under way to destroy terrorist infrastructure in the first‐line border villages. Focusing on joint Arab-Israeli patrols and improving early warning systems might offer more lasting border security than occasional leadership visits.
