Atiku: Obasanjo Has No Electoral Value, Arewa Made Him President

ADC presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar says former President Olusegun Obasanjo has no political or electoral value and that northern voters were central to Obasanjo’s election in 1999. Atiku said he is not concerned about Obasanjo’s refusal to endorse him. He also restated that he opposed the alleged third-term agenda in order to defend Nigeria’s Constitution and democracy. Speaking on the 2027 elections, Atiku said he gave young Nigerians opportunities to serve in government while he was vice president. He promised to continue giving young people leadership opportunities if elected president.
