The rescue team reached the airman overnight, but the person remains in Iranian territory amid ongoing hostilities. Danger still looms for them and those involved in the effort. The US military must still exfiltrate the airman to safety. There is no confirmation that the airman has left Iranian soil. I really look forward to this mission ending successfully.
