Former presidential aide Reno Omokri says President Bola Tinubu has nominated him as Nigeria’s ambassador to four countries in Central and South America. He revealed this while responding to a follower on his official Facebook page. Omokri explained that his deployment involves separate approval processes with four different governments. This makes his diplomatic procedure more complex than usual. He dismissed comparisons with another appointee and said peer pressure does not drive him. “I don’t come from a ‘see your mate’ culture. My destiny is independent of others’ achievements.” He added that he is content with his multi-nation assignment and trusts the pace at which it is unfolding.
