KWASU Elects Mariam Ona-Olapo as First Female Student Senate President

Kwara State University, Malete, has elected Mariam Kofoworola Ona-Olapo as Senate President of its 10th Student Union Assembly. Her emergence makes her the first woman to lead the legislative arm of the KWASU Student Union. The election was held during the inaugural sitting of the newly constituted Senate Council. The sitting was presided over by Ahmad Ayomide Afolabi, the outgoing Senate President. The new principal officers will oversee the Senate's activities for the new assembly.
