Bauchi Police Arrest Two Suspects in PDP Rally Attack, Search Continues

Spokesperson Nafiu Habib said the arrests were made after credible intelligence led officers to the suspects. Investigations remain ongoing as police hunt for other people involved in the violence. Witnesses reported that attackers on motorcycles damaged parked vehicles outside the venue before fleeing. Although officers pursued them, most escaped. The incident has drawn strong condemnation from the PDP faction and raises concerns over rising political tensions ahead of the 2027 elections.
