Embracing Multiplied Peace from God

Biblical leaders often began their letters with powerful greetings. In Daniel 6:25, King Darius declared, “Peace be multiplied unto you” after Daniel’s deliverance. Apostle Paul and Peter also blessed believers with multiplied peace in their epistles. A personal testimony brings this alive. On a turbulent flight, a respected man of God saw me sleeping calmly. He told his wife, “There is nothing to fear—Daddy is sleeping.” My rest reminded him that God’s peace can grow stronger in the midst of storms. Jesus said in John 14:27, “My peace I give unto you… let not your heart be troubled.” To enjoy this multiplied peace, love the Lord with all your heart (Matthew 22:37) and delight in His commandments (Psalm 119:165). Written by Pastor E. A. Adeboye.
