Open Heavens Devotional – Fire Carriers II (April 7, 2026)

I begin today’s devotional under the theme “Fire Carriers II” by focusing on the hunger and thirst for God’s presence. In Exodus 33, Joshua stayed behind in the Tabernacle to seek God face to face. In the stories of Elijah and Elisha, we see how spiritual hunger drew down a double portion of fire. Beloved, the fire of God falls on those whose hearts are dry and ready to burn. Like wood that must be dry to catch flame, our souls must thirst for God’s glory. I close with a prayer asking the Father to fill us with holy hunger. Memorise Matthew 5:6 and join me in pressing into fresh fire.
