Only Tinubu Has the Vision to Transform Nigeria, Says Hamzat

Dr Obafemi Hamzat, Lagos State Deputy Governor and APC governorship hopeful, praised President Bola Tinubu’s visionary leadership while addressing party chairmen inspecting key infrastructure projects. He argued that many aspiring presidential contenders lack the long-term vision needed to industrialise and unite the nation. Hamzat highlighted Tinubu’s foresight in establishing specialised agencies and delivering landmark projects like the Lekki Free Trade Zone, Eko Atlantic City, Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and Badagry-Sokoto Highway. He urged state party leaders and elected officials to remain accountable and strengthen the APC’s internal structure. According to Hamzat, Nigeria’s progress depends on service-driven leadership and a commitment to citizens’ welfare.

For real progress, we should ask party leaders to publish clear timelines and benchmarks for the infrastructure projects they inspected recently.
