Atiku’s Spokesman Urges DSS to Question Igboho Over Oyo School Abductions
Paul Ibe, media aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has called on the Department of State Services and other security agencies to invite Yoruba Nation activist Sunday Igboho. Ibe wants Igboho to name those he says sponsored the kidnapping of students and teachers in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State. Igboho told members of the National Association of Nigerian Students in Ibadan that he knows the politicians funding the abductors. He also claimed the Oyo State Government blocked his security outfit, ‘Iru Ekun,’ from mounting a rescue. Ibe questioned why federal authorities have been silent over the abduction of more than 50 schoolchildren in Mussa, Borno State, last month and urged similar action and forest guards for vulnerable states.
