Five Killed, Eight Injured in Trailer-Tanker Crash in Agaie
Five people died and eight others were critically injured when a trailer collided with a stationary tanker on Sunday in Agaie, Niger State. The trailer was carrying about 40 passengers from Gusau in Zamfara State to Shagamu in Ogun State. It swerved to avoid the faulty tanker, lost control and crashed. Local NEMA officials confirmed the fatalities on the spot. The injured were taken to the General Hospital, Agaie, while the remains of the deceased were deposited at the hospital morgue.
