Help Needed: CAC Business Name Registration ID Rejected

Help Needed: CAC Business Name Registration ID Rejected

I’m struggling to complete my business name registration on the CAC portal. Every time I upload my ID, I get the error “Means Of Identification Is Invalid.” So far, I’ve tried uploading my voter’s card and national ID. Each time, CAC resolves the issue and then raises the same query again. I’ve retaken the photos, made them clearer, and reuploaded, but the error keeps coming back. Can anyone tell me which forms of identification CAC will accept? Has anyone experienced this before? Should I switch to using a NIN slip? Also, how do I locate the CAC office in Lagos? I need to finish this registration urgently. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone encountered repeated CAC portal rejections when uploading valid IDs? What details did you use to finally get approval?

Which kind of ID did you upload each time, and did you adjust the file format or image quality?

I totally get it. Switching to PDF with proper resolution fixed my uploads too.

It seems the CAC system might be rejecting even national IDs with minor mismatches, which raises questions about their validation process.

I'm not convinced the portal error is purely on CAC's side; maybe the file format or size needs tweaking before upload.

Try converting your ID to a high-quality PDF under 500KB or use the JPEG RGB format. That fixed similar CAC errors for me.
