Serge Gnabry Ruled Out of 2026 World Cup After Thigh Injury

Bayern Munich and Germany forward Serge Gnabry has confirmed he will miss the 2026 World Cup following a thigh injury. The 30-year-old adductor injury forced him to end his season early. He announced he won’t play again until pre-season, ruling himself out of the tournament set for the United States, Canada and Mexico. Reflecting on the setback, Gnabry said the last few days were tough. He plans to support Germany from home while focusing on recovery ahead of next season. A former Arsenal player, Gnabry has scored 26 goals in 59 appearances for Germany under coach Julian Nagelsmann.
