Having Lost His Mum as an Only Child, Gideon Okeke Urges Siblings to Reconcile
Gideon Okeke, who grew up alone and recently lost his mother, spoke from personal experience. He understands the pain of a “lone child” and prayed for comfort for anyone who has lost both parents. He asked God to send such children friends who will stick closer than brothers. Then he turned to those with siblings but at odds and urged them to call and settle their differences. He reminded quarreling brothers and sisters that sharing DNA is a privilege. Disagreements can be blessings when you have someone to consult, laugh with, and cry with.
