He said online users often form conclusions from the first version of a story they see, before hearing from everyone involved. In a post on X, AY described social media as a “court of injustice” that tends to favour the first narrative. He urged users to show restraint and recognise that most disputes have more than one side. He added that recent online conversations suggest some people may be becoming more willing to consider different perspectives before passing judgment.
