Sister’s Viral Plea Triggers Enugu Police Probe Into Missing Security Guard

Sister’s Viral Plea Triggers Enugu Police Probe Into Missing Security Guard

The Enugu State Police Command has launched an investigation after a security guard went missing three weeks ago. His sister says he left for duty on April 7 and never returned. She traveled from Abuja to Enugu seeking answers. The security company informed her they reported his disappearance to police on April 9 but failed to provide the requested photograph. When she visited the station, officers told her they had not received the image and no one was actively following the case. Fearing the matter was being ignored, she shared a tearful appeal online asking Nigerians to help locate her brother. Responding on social media, SP Daniel Ndukwe, the Police Public Relations Officer, requested the video maker’s contact and the name of the station where the report was filed. He vowed to take further action once he had those details.

Is it really that mysterious? Maybe simple miscommunication with the employer explains the delay.

It's strange that the security company acknowledged the report but the police probe only began after the sister's plea went viral.

Family members should document every update and follow up regularly with both police and security firm until clear answers emerge.
