Akume Brokers Peace Between Rival APC Factions in Benue

George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, has mediated a truce between divided APC groups in Benue State. The factions had been locked in a leadership struggle since the 2023 elections. At a crucial stakeholders’ meeting, party leaders agreed to set aside long-standing grievances and work together to strengthen the APC’s structure.
