LNSA Imota Command Arrests Suspected Burglar, Recovers Homemade Gun in Ikorodu
Operatives of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA) attached to the Imota Command have arrested a 25-year-old suspect, Monday Enoch, after reports of suspicious movement in the Araromi area of Imota. Acting on a tip-off, officers swooped in at about 4:22 a.m. on Friday, March 13, 2026. During questioning, the suspect confessed to possessing two firearms. He then led operatives to an uncompleted building in Mosafejo, Agbowa, where a locally made long gun was recovered. Prince Dr. Ifalade Oyekan FISN, General Manager of the Agency, reiterated LNSA’s commitment to close collaboration with federal, state and local law enforcement bodies. He praised the Imota team for their swift action. The suspect and the recovered weapon have been handed over to the Nigeria Police Force at Imota Division. Efforts are ongoing to trace the second firearm reportedly stolen in Ogun State.
