ADC Faction Accuses Bolaji Abdullahi of Illicit Leadership Takeover Plot

In a fiery statement, Christopher Okechiku, Director of Media and Public Affairs for the Authentic ADC, branded Bolaji Abdullahi’s recent claims as a “confession of a failed conspiracy.” He challenged Abdullahi’s party membership, noting the former minister cannot even state when he officially joined. Okechiku dismissed Abdullahi’s talk of a “Tinubu anointment” for a new chairman as baseless. He argued that any support for upholding the ADC constitution is not an “anointment” but a defense of internal democracy. The statement accused Abdullahi and his allies of using and dumping loyal state chairmen, then inviting politicians with corrupt reputations to revive their images at ADC’s expense. Okechiku warned that genuine party progressives will not allow ADC to become a refuge for “political mercenaries.”
